Don't taste the puddle Ea!!!

Don't taste the puddle Ea!!!

Yesterday was a looooooong day.  Although I did not go out until it was 3PM, it felt like I’ve been gone for a long while already because I’ve seen so much of the outside world.  I’ve been a bit grumpy lately for always staying inside the house and not being able to see much open spaces.  Early yesterday morning, mum said she’d bring me with her as she will run errands, pay bills and all other grown up stuff I don’t know much about yet.  It was raining but she still kept her promise.

So off we go.  First stop: Bayantel Customer Service center.  Not very exciting but I’m glad the queue was not long.  While mum was on the service line, I stood by the security guard counting every people passing by. mffwon. mmfftwo. mmfftweee.. then back to mmffwon. mmfftwo..mmfftwee.

After that, I felt a little hungry and thirsty so I tugged mum for a num-yum.  We sat at a corner of the restaurant and stayed until I had my fill.  When I was ready, we went to the pet shop.  We counted the shif.. I mean fish – mffwon.mmfftwo..mmfftwee. There are so many of them.  I also saw a gray see snake, teddy hamsters, smelly white mice, little puppies and a little bird. (more…)

Love is expressed in many forms, shapes and colors.   I  know because I get to receive loads of it in multiple folds and running over.  Thank you to all my families and friends who remembered my special day and expressed love through prayers and gifts.

I am now an official member of the “Terrible Two’s”. Beware!
me and my mama
I’m joking but there is a hint of truth in there. My party was intimate and fun. My house is quite small so everyone was so close to each other, literally. I wondered how some 30 grown ups and 8 kids fit inside. For a second I thought our house is going to explode!

My mum prepared the goodies the night before the event. She had to prepare everything earlier because there is a wedding she had to go to on the very same day as my birthday.

My birthday cake is very pretty. This is beautiful because mom placed the decorations herself. She knew I love colorful flowers and butterflies. I’d like a cake that’s bursting with wonderful colors ;)

I’ll be turning 2 years old when the clock strikes 6:41 PM later tonight.  My party will start 3 hours earlier though.  Everyone is invited!  I’m excited to see my garden cake.  Mama says it has plenty of butterflies and flowers.  I’ve got plenty of balloons all over the house too!  And they’re all purple, just like barney haha!

My Papa is not here and won’t be around for my birthday.  He has a very important business trip to attend to but it’s okay, I’m sure he’ll make it up to me.  He’ll be here tomorrow.

See you all this 3PM at our Bellevue home :)   Let’s have fun!

I’ll show the pictures tonight :)

If I Lived Under The Sea

Barney, my favorite show ever since has got plenty of beautiful songs and dances. I’m going to share with you the songs I like most. There are just too many, I think it will take a lot of space. But I don’t mind and I’ll share anyway.  I’ll just write it one song at a time.  To get the ball rolling, here goes:

If I Lived Under the Sea

If I lived under the sea, sea, sea,
I think it would be neat as it could be, be, be.
I could visit all the fish,
Anytime I wish,
If I lived under the sea.

Ea is a Singer!

From Mama Deetsie:

Just before we dozed off to dreamland last night, I sang a song to Ea.  I do that every night.  I let her choose a song by asking what she wants.  She would either act it out or throw some words like “eee-yah-eeeeyaho” to mean “Old McDonald had a farm” or she would make her fingers dance to mean “The Itsy Bitsy Spider”.  She would just throw a hint with gestures and syllables and I’d often guess it right.  I sing and she listens.

Last night, when I asked what song shall we sing, she waved her right hand and said “eh-oh” over and over again.  I knew that means the Teletubbies opening song.  I sang it slowly to encourage her to follow.  And for the very first time, she sang with me!!!  Her voice was soft as she tries to mimic each syllables.  She knows the melody and that’s very surprising for me .  It’s like she’s been singing it silently for months and months and didn’t let it out until now.  Given the right training and plenty of loving encouragement, I’m sure my little one will grow up to be one fine singer :)
