I am loved
Love is expressed in many forms, shapes and colors. I know because I get to receive loads of it in multiple folds and running over. Thank you to all my families and friends who remembered my special day and expressed love through prayers and gifts.
To my Lola Becca and Lolo Abner who texted very early in the morning to let me know they love me and will be praying for me all the days of my life. They are in Davao so they can’t make it to the party. But I know they’d be here if only it was possible.
To my Lola Ellen and Lolo Alex for the green ram I can ride on. It’s soft yet sturdy, me and Jethro can play with it all day.
To Tita Danica, Tito Tabby and Little Yzzy who made a post with a lovely poem just for me. My chinita friend Yzzy handed me an Ang pao (not sure if i spelled it right) yesterday. I’ll buy something really special with it.
To Auntie Grace, Kuya Coy and Oshie for the bubble blower. I love bubbles, I do!
To Ninang Mafe and Tita Mhai who so want me to be kikay since day one. They gave me a cool pink cap and a cool pink eyewear. I paired it with the pretty denim skirt and blouse they gave me on my first birthday. I wore this outfit all throughout the party because I felt beautifully beyond reach *winks*
To my lovely fairy godmudras Robs and Clyde who gave me pairs of slippers – a pink one and a brown one, and pink bubble blower. Bubbles make me happy.
To Ninong Rex and Ninang Ems for a handful of story books, coloring books and sticker pads. I can practice my coloring skills on real papers and not on walls. The books will take me to heaps of adventures just before bedtime. Lovely!
To Ninong Jones and Ninang Amor for the backpack and rain jacket. I’m gonna use this especially when I would feel like running away in the middle of the night (just like Matilda)
To the Grace Community International ates and kuyas for the colorful blocks to play with. I can make buildings and trains with it.
To Audrey Rose for the pastel colored set of building blocks that I can use to make castles and carriages for my dolls.
To Audrick Rafael for the Three Little Pig finger puppet story book. I love good stories and nice things that goes with it.
To Aries for the Dora the Explorer hankies to wipe my messy face and sticky hands with.
To AJ and Kuya Lanver, the boys next door, for the pretty Princess Aurora doll. I like it a lot. In fact I like it too much that I’m afraid I just might break it. Mommy says I should keep it for now and will play more with it when I know how to take good care of fine little dolls.
To Horace O’Donal for the posh pink blouse. It’s fabulous and sparkly. I’ll wear it when we go clubbing soon Haha!
I wish I didn’t forget to thank any one. If I have, I might have lost the card and didn’t know which gift came with the name. Thanks everyone for making it to my birthday no matter how simple and short. Thanks Mama and Papa for the countless gifts I received from you, whether it’s my birthday or not, I always get something special.
